Hifenac Tablet contains Aceclofenac 100mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly prescribed for the management of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders. Aceclofenac exerts its therapeutic effect by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to a reduction in the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are mediators of inflammation, pain, and fever. Hifenac is indicated for the treatment of conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other inflammatory musculoskeletal disorders.
