Hhfudic Cream is a topical formulation containing Mometasone furoate 0.1% w/w, a potent corticosteroid, combined with Fusidic Acid 2% w/w, a bacteriostatic antibiotic. This combination is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory dermatoses complicated by or at risk of secondary bacterial infection. Mometasone exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators and suppressing immune responses within the skin. Fusidic Acid specifically targets Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing bacterial proliferation. Hhfudic Cream is primarily used in conditions such as infected eczema, impetiginized dermatitis, and other superficial bacterial skin infections with associated inflammation. The cream should be applied in a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional, and treatment duration should be limited to avoid potential corticosteroid-related adverse effects such as skin atrophy, telangiectasia, or systemic absorption. Caution is advised in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Hhfudic Cream is not recommended for use in viral or fungal skin infections unless complicated by bacterial superinfection.
