This combination is specifically designed to provide effective anti-inflammatory, anti-pruritic, and antibacterial action in the management of various dermatological conditions. Halometasone exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing redness, swelling, and itching associated with inflammatory skin disorders. Fusidic Acid targets gram-positive bacteria, particularly Staphylococcus aureus, by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which helps in controlling secondary bacterial infections commonly seen in compromised skin. Halostrol-F Cream is indicated for the treatment of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses complicated by bacterial infections, such as eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis with superimposed bacterial colonization.
