Salicylic Acid facilitates the removal of scales and promotes the penetration of Halobetasol by softening and exfoliating the stratum corneum. Halofast S Ointment should be applied sparingly to the affected areas once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare professional, and treatment duration should be limited to minimize the risk of adverse effects such as skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and systemic corticosteroid absorption.
