Gmol-Ace Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic agent, acts centrally to reduce pain and fever through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. The synergistic action of these two agents provides effective relief from mild to moderate pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and postoperative pain. Gmol-Ace Tablet is indicated for conditions requiring both analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, renal or hepatic impairment, and cardiovascular disease. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, and dizziness.
