It contains Glimepiride 2 mg, Metformin 500 mg, and Pioglitazone 15 mg, each contributing distinct mechanisms to improve glycemic control. Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea, stimulates pancreatic beta cells to enhance insulin secretion. Metformin, a biguanide, primarily decreases hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity, thereby reducing insulin resistance.
