Nortriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant, complements this action through inhibition of norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake, enhancing analgesic efficacy and providing additional benefits in mood stabilization. The synergistic effect of these agents makes Giae-NT particularly effective in conditions such as diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, and fibromyalgia. This combination may also be utilized off-label for certain anxiety disorders and chronic pain states refractory to monotherapy.
