Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, exhibits broad-spectrum antibacterial action by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, thereby preventing bacterial replication and resolving secondary bacterial infections. Clobetasol propionate, a potent topical corticosteroid, exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, reducing erythema, swelling, and discomfort associated with inflammatory dermatoses. The synergistic combination in Gate Out Cream facilitates rapid symptomatic relief and promotes healing in conditions such as tinea infections complicated by bacterial superinfection and inflammatory dermatoses.
