This combination is indicated for the treatment of inflammatory dermatoses complicated by or at risk of secondary bacterial infections, particularly those caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus. Mometasone exerts anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects by inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing redness, swelling, and itching. Fusidic Acid acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, effectively targeting gram-positive bacteria, including methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus.
