Esginac-MR Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Thiocolchicoside (4mg), Aceclofenac (100mg), and Paracetamol (325mg). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant with anti-inflammatory properties, primarily used to relieve muscle spasms and associated pain. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), effectively reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes involved in prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol serves as an analgesic and antipyretic, providing additional pain relief and fever reduction. The synergistic action of these three components makes Esginac-MR particularly useful in managing musculoskeletal conditions such as acute lower back pain, strains, sprains, and other soft tissue injuries where muscle spasm and inflammation coexist. It is indicated for short-term symptomatic treatment to improve patient mobility and comfort. Esginac-MR should be used under medical supervision, considering contraindications such as hypersensitivity to any component, peptic ulcer disease, severe hepatic or renal impairment, and caution in patients with cardiovascular risk factors.
