Eritel LN 20mg/40mg Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medication containing Cilnidipine 20mg and Telmisartan 40mg. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that inhibits L-type and N-type calcium channels, leading to vasodilation and reduction of peripheral vascular resistance, thereby lowering blood pressure. Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) which selectively inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion. The synergistic action of these two agents provides effective and sustained blood pressure control in patients with essential hypertension. Eritel LN is indicated for the management of hypertension, either as initial therapy or in patients inadequately controlled on monotherapy.
